Niseko 2.0 is the updated version of the original Niseko. This incredibly warm, incredibly durable, and incredibly lightweight snow boot will make you fall in love the second you open up the box. The strong EVA outer shell, in combination with the soft polyester liner, makes the boot difficult to compete with in terms of both comfort and isolation. Design-wise, the boot has been inspired by traditional Japanese road worker boots. In other words, although worn all year round by some people, this is a boot made for harsh, snowy weather conditions.

Niseko High / Niseko Low

You might be aware that FUBUKIs previous models (Niseko 2.0 and Niseko 2.0 Low) ran a bit small. Especially on the lower side of their UNISEX sizing scale. Their updated models don’t anymore. Hence, if you’ve heard from a friend, or perhaps read somewhere, that you need to size up in their boots, you might want to ignore that information.

FUBUKIs best recommendation these days is that you pick the size you wear in most of your other footwear. If you do so, you will probably end up with the right size in your Nisekos. There’s no reason to size up unless you’re normally in between two sizes. Sizing up to make room for a thicker sock is not something you have to consider. The lining will pack out a little as you begin to use the boots.

Still unsure of what size to pick? - Measure your feet!

Foot length: Your foot length is the length of your foot from the back of your heel to the front of your big toe. Here’s how you measure your feet:

Place a white paper on a flat surface, preferably pressed against a wall. Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall and place a mark at the tip of your longest toe. Measure the distance between the edge of the paper and the mark you placed.

Inner length: The inner length of the boot is the length from the back of the boot to the front of the boot when the boot is brand new. This length should be approx. 0,5-1 CM / 0,2-0,4 IN longer than your foot length when the boot is brand new. As mentioned above, the lining will pack out a little once you begin to use the boot. Hence, the inner length of the boot is going to increase a little. Most importantly, don’t overthink the decision! Finding the right size in FUBUKI’s models should be simple.

Niseko Kids

FUBUKIs best recommendation when it comes to their kids model is to pick the size your kid wears in most of their other footwear. If your kid is a size EU28, they’ll have a little bit of extra room in the size “EU28/29”. If your kid is a size EU29, the “EU28/29” will most likely fit them perfectly. The same goes for the rest of the sizes.

If your kid is normally in between two of the sizes (EU29,5, EU31,5, EU33,5, EU35,5), aiming for “the next size” might be a good idea. Unless they are in between two of the sizes, they don’t have to size up. If you’re looking at the U.S. / UK sizes, this is the rule FUBUKI recommends you follow.
